Creating, verifying and managing your profile

How do I register on Samyak Matrimony?
Click Register Free, fill in your basic details (name, email, mobile, gender, date of birth), verify your email and mobile number via OTP, and you're ready! Then complete your profile with photos and partner preferences for the best matches.
Is registration really free?
Yes — registration is 100% free. You can browse profiles, send a limited number of interests, and receive interests at no cost. Premium membership is optional and unlocks unlimited messaging, contact details, and priority placement.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your registered email, and we'll send a reset link. The link expires in 1 hour for security.
Why is my profile not approved yet?
All new profiles are manually reviewed within 24 hours to keep our community genuine. Make sure your photos are clear, your details are accurate, and you've completed at least 80% of your profile. You'll receive an email once approved.
Can I edit my profile after registration?
Yes! Go to Edit Profile anytime to update your basic info, education, career, family details, lifestyle, or partner preferences. Changes go live after a quick admin check.
How do I delete my profile?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Profile. Note: deletion is permanent. We recommend hiding your profile first if you're unsure — you can reactivate it anytime.

Finding Matches

Searching, filtering and connecting with profiles

How does Samyak find matches for me?
Our system matches you with profiles of the opposite gender that fit your partner preferences — age, height, religion, caste, education, and location. Visit My Matches to see your tailored list.
How do I search for specific profiles?
Use the Find Matches page with detailed filters (age, height, religion, caste, education, occupation, city, state). You can also search by Matri ID directly.
How do I send an interest?
Open any profile and click the Send Interest button. The other person will be notified. Once they accept, you can chat with them directly via Messages.
What happens when someone sends me an interest?
You'll see it under Interests Received. You can Accept to start a conversation or Decline politely. Pending interests appear with a yellow badge.
Can I save profiles to view later?
Yes! Click Save (bookmark icon) on any profile to add it to your Shortlist. You can also see who has shortlisted YOU under "Shortlisted By Others".
Why don't I see many matches?
Either your partner preferences are too narrow, or your profile is incomplete. Try widening your age/height/location range, or complete your profile to attract more interest. Profiles with photos get 8x more matches!

Messaging & Contact

Sending messages and viewing contact details

How do I send a message?
You can send a message after the other person accepts your interest. Open any accepted profile and click "Message" — or go to Inbox and start a conversation. Premium members can message anyone directly.
When can I see contact details (phone, email)?
Contact details are revealed when both parties accept the interest, OR when you have an active Premium membership. Free members can see contact info of Premium members based on their privacy settings.
Can I block someone from contacting me?
Yes. On any profile, click the Block option. Blocked users cannot view your profile or contact you. Manage your blocked list under Settings.
How do I report a fake or abusive profile?
On any profile, click Report and tell us the reason. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours and takes action including warning, suspending, or banning the account.

Premium Membership

Plans, payments and benefits

What are the benefits of Premium membership?
Premium members get: Unlimited messages, full contact details (phone & email), profile boost (appear higher in search), priority customer support, and a special Premium badge on your profile that attracts more interests.
How much does Premium cost?
We have multiple plans starting from very affordable rates with 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month durations. View all current plans on our Premium Membership page.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets via secure CCAvenue payment gateway. Bank transfer is also available — contact us for details.
Is the payment secure?
Absolutely. All payments are processed through CCAvenue, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your card details on our servers.
Can I get a refund?
Premium memberships are non-refundable once activated. Please review the plan details carefully before purchasing. If you have payment issues, contact us within 24 hours.
How do I check my plan expiry?
Go to Settings → Membership → Current Plan & Billing. You'll see your active plan name, expiry date, and payment history.

Safety & Privacy

How we protect your information

Is my personal information safe?
Yes. All profiles are manually verified. Your contact info is hidden by default. We use SSL encryption to protect your data and never share it with third parties without your consent.
Who can see my photos?
You control this! In Manage Photos → Privacy, choose: Everyone, Premium Members Only, or On Request Only. You can change this anytime.
Can I hide my profile from search?
Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Profile Hide/Unhide. Hidden profiles don't appear in search results. You can unhide anytime.
How does Samyak verify profiles?
Our team verifies: 1) Email via OTP, 2) Mobile via OTP, 3) Photos via manual review, 4) Photo ID Proof (optional). Profiles with all 4 verifications get a Trust Score of 100%.
What safety tips should I follow?
• Never share bank details, OTPs, or passwords
• Meet first time in public places
• Inform family before meeting
• Verify all claims independently

Sharing your journey with us

Found my match — how do I share my story?
Wonderful news! 💕 Email us at info@samyakmatrimony.com with your wedding photo, names, and a short story. We'll feature you on our Success Stories page!
Can I delete my profile after marriage?
Yes! Once you find your partner, go to Settings → Delete Profile. Don't forget to share your success story with us first!
Will my profile data be kept after I delete?
No. We permanently delete your profile and personal data within 30 days of deletion request. Some anonymized data (success stories you opt-in to) may be retained for testimonials.
